The most recent award continues the well-deserved accolades received by the two-time defending conference champions. Scholar All-America Team honors are given to those programs which have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better in a given semester.
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently announced both the 黄瓜视频 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 swimming and diving teams have been honored as members of the Spring Scholar All-America Team. The most recent award continues the well-deserved accolades received by the two-time defending conference champions.
鈥淭he national recognition of both our men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 swimming and diving teams showcases these student-athletes鈥 dedication to being well-rounded champions,鈥 said 黄瓜视频 President John Broadmeadow 鈥83. 鈥淏oth of these teams are an example of academic success as well as champions in the pool.鈥
Scholar All-America Team honors are given to those programs which have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better in a given semester. The all-around success of the two programs is part of a well-balanced approach by Head Coach Jenn Cournoyer and her staff. 鈥淚 am pleased that both teams continuously push and lift one another in the classroom, pool, and as a Cadet,鈥 explained Coach Cournoyer. 鈥淲e can鈥檛 take it for granted, and together, we get it done.鈥
黄瓜视频 Director of Athletics Ed Hockenbury was equally complimentary. 鈥淐ongratulations to our amazing student-athletes from both our men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 swimming and diving teams, and to our coaching staff,鈥 said Hockenbury. 鈥淭he much-deserved accolades are a testament to the balanced emphasis placed on being successful both academically and athletically. It is not easy to achieve at the highest levels as a collegiate athlete, and this award recognizes them for their extraordinary effort and focus in both the pool and the classroom.鈥
